Fort Myers Local Scores $2M Powerball Win With $3 Quick Pick Ticket

At a Fort Myers Publix, a $3 ticket turned into a $2 million windfall. The winning Quick Pick matched all five white ball numbers during the Sept. 15, 2025, drawing. By adding Power Play, the prize doubled from its base $1 million value.

The winning combination was 14-15-32-42-49, with a Powerball 1. That machine-picked ticket stood out as the nation's top prize that night. 

Florida Lottery officials wait for someone to step forward with the winning ticket. Winners must claim prizes within 180 days of the drawing.

State rules require making the winners' names public. Winners over $250,000 can stay anonymous for 90 days after claiming.

The drawing on Sept. 17 offers an $81 million jackpot. Taking the cash now would mean about $37.9 million before taxes.

Players across 45 states, including Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, try their luck three times weekly on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET.  The odds of hitting all five white balls with Power Play stand at roughly 1 in 11.7 million.
