Officers swept through Fort Myers on Sept. 30, 2025, seizing 20 slot machines from Spin City Arcade. The raid, which targeted two locations in Lee County, marks another step in removing unlawful betting spots.

At the intersection of Reflections Parkway and Cypress Lake Drive, law enforcement watched as movers loaded gaming equipment into trucks. The arcade sat empty as the operation unfolded.

State gaming officials led the crackdown with backup from the county's deputies. Officials remain tight-lipped about their second target in the area.

"Nothing is going on here. It's just a bunch of older people in there having a good time, socializing, it's a cool place for us to go," said one patron, according to Gulf Coast News.

The site's troubles with the law stretch back to 2023. Back then, agents stripped the venue of its machines during a similar bust.

As the hunt for unlicensed betting operations intensifies statewide, gaming officials promise updates soon. Their work continues, aiming to root out illegal gambling across Florida.
