After a year's pause due to Hurricane Milton, the spooky fun returns to Bay Oaks Park. The annual Fright Night celebration starts at 6 p.m. on Oct. 24. Each family pays $5 to join the festivities.
"Fright Night is one of Bay Oaks' most popular events of the year, bringing families, friends, and neighbors together to celebrate safely in a fun and festive environment," said Town of Fort Myers Beach Communications Director Nicole Berzin, according to Fort Myers Beach Talk.
For three hours, kids can bounce, slide, and climb through an array of inflatable attractions. Thrill-seekers can test their skills on a sprawling 35-foot course filled with twisting tunnels and swinging obstacles.
The smallest guests have their own special space. Mini Jurassic World welcomes children under 4 with soft foam blocks, a cozy ball pit, and gentle bouncing spots. Meanwhile, the main grounds feature kid-safe foam axe stations and a winding Halloween maze.
Traditional Halloween activities add to the magic. Kids can trunk or treat, enter a costume contest, and try their luck at carnival games. Local food trucks serve up tasty bites as music fills the air.
Volunteers are still needed to help watch the bounce houses and run games. Send Erin Adkins an email to sign up.
Fright Night is located in Bay Oaks Park at 2731 Oak St. in Fort Myers.
