The Rock the Stage music contest returns for its fifth year, wrapping up at Bay Street Yard in Fort Myers on Dec. 14. Two November events lead to the finals, with proceeds supporting the Lewis P. Tabarrini Children's Music Outreach Foundation's work in music education.

Musicians will compete in three groups: vocalists, original composers, and music groups. The path to victory starts Nov. 22 at Nauti Parrot Oasis with solo acts. Next, bands take over Lumber Axe Whiskey Bar & Grill on Nov. 29. Nine acts move on to the December finals.

As the area's top music contest, Rock the Stage welcomes performers across ages and styles. Crowds pick winners through text votes during shows, adding to the excitement.

The finale on Dec. 14 starts at 2 p.m. in Bay Street Yard.

A $20 donation gets you through the door, or choose the $75 VIP pass to snag prime seats, skip drink lines, and score extra raffle chances.

The night packs in more fun with scratch-offs, split-the-pot games, and quiet bidding wars. Every dollar helps bring music to young minds across Southwest Florida.
