Fort Myers' Alliance for the Arts will stage three shows starting this December. The mix includes a brand-new holiday tale, a fresh take on a classic trial story, and a summer festival of local writing.

"The Alliance is proud to offer a stage where creativity, collaboration, and community thrive," said Alliance Events & Programming Director Michael Hebler, according to WGCU. "Each season reflects the passion and talent of our local theatre artists, and we can't wait to welcome both familiar faces and new voices to our stage."

First up is A Rainbow Holiday by writers Lori Sigrist and Joe Simonelli. The show runs Dec. 4-14, with practice starting Nov. 10. They're looking for eight actors — two older adults in their 50s and six younger ones aged 20-30.

12 Angry Jurors takes over the gallery space Feb. 12-22, 2026. This take on Reginald Rose's work needs 13 men and women of mixed ages to fill the cast.

Summer brings fresh voices to the stage. Local writers will shine in an Original One-Act Play Festival. A yet-to-be-named musical caps off the year's shows.

Tryouts are on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m. at Foulds Theatre, located at 10091 McGregor Boulevard. Bring a headshot and resume.
