Paul Fleming Restaurant Group Plans Seven Paul Martin’s American Grill Locations Across Florida

Plans are underway to open the first Paul Martin's American Grill in southwest Florida next year. The site will mark the start of a major push into the state, with six more locations to follow. Right now, diners can find these grills in California, Texas, and Arizona.

"The concept itself should be great in Florida," said Paul Fleming, according to Naples Daily News. "It resonates, the price is great, the food's great, there's a good value, and like a lot of our restaurants, we love a Florida market and think we can do well there."

New locations will open in major cities from Tampa to Miami. The group already runs three successful locations in Naples at Lake Park Diner, PJK Neighborhood Chinese, and Paulitas' Taqueria.

Fresh, local items fill the made-from-scratch menu at Paul Martin's, including steak frites and brick chicken. Each spot offers wines chosen just for that location.

"It's meant for a broad audience because the price is good," Fleming said. "You can host business meetings, family gatherings, or just enjoy happy hour."

CEO Jody Goodenough-Fleming points to local backing as a big plus in Naples. "I think we have great community support for all of our concepts and personally. It's one of the many things we love about Naples."

The group sees bright days ahead for food spots. "We think the industry is making a huge rebound and the future is great," Fleming said. 

They also put cash into other food ventures they spot. "We're investing in other people's businesses," Fleming said. "We find concepts we like and look for other opportunities."

Since 2006, Paul Martin's American Grill has grown to seven locations in three states. Watch for news about when and where the first Florida location will open.
