Players Circle Theater on McGregor Boulevard presents a Christmas musical revue with 36 holiday tunes. Five performers bring the show to life through Dec. 21. It runs 90 minutes with no break.

Ted Wioneck III wrote the musical, Robert Cacioppo directs, and Ricky Pope directs the musical accompaniment.

The cast has Ted Wioncek III and Kimberly Suskin, a real-life couple, plus AJ Mendini and Rachel Querreveld. They play versions of themselves while performing tunes and sharing stories about where several numbers came from.

Black drapes with a single piano transform into a holiday set, with wrapped packages appear, trees, and twinkling lights. Performers grab guitars and ukuleles when they need something different from piano.

Querreveld belts out "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch." Suskin delivers Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You." Mendini tackles "Run Run Rudolph." Wioneck channels Elvis for a holiday number.

"Silent Night" has been around for 200 years. The setlist jumps across eras and styles. "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" makes an appearance. The full company performs a Christmas rap together. Costumes change multiple times during the performance. Santa shows up on stage several times.

Shows are starting to sell out. Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at 239-800-3292.
