Dolly Parton will bring her multimedia symphonic experience, Threads: My Songs in Symphony, to 12 cities across the United States in 2026. Twenty-seven performances start Jan. 3 in Denver, where she'll team up with the Colorado Symphony.

Schirmer Theatrical and Sony Music Publishing helped create the concert series. David Hamilton arranged the orchestral pieces. Adam Grannick designed the visuals.

Vocalists perform the songs live. Parton appears on screen, guiding audiences through her life. The singer won't be there in person.

"The threads of my life are woven together through my songs," Parton said, according to Wide Open Country. "That's why this project, Threads: My Songs In Symphony, is so special to me. It's all about sharing my music and my musical journey with audiences in a new way."

The production premiered in 2025 with the Nashville Symphony and sold out every seat. After that, it traveled to the Cleveland Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, National Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Symphony, Dallas Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony, and Oklahoma City Philharmonic.

Vocalists Katelyn Drye, Hollie Hammel, Blair Lamb, and Julie Williams will return for the 2026 run. Musicians David Hamilton, Derek Drye, Lindsey Miller, Dean Berner, Gary Lunn, Chris Leidhecker, Ross McReynolds, and Luke Woodle are coming back too.

Katie Basden, Ally Jackson, Brian Fullen, Craig Nelson, and Duncan Mullins will perform at some shows.

St. Louis will get two performances on Jan. 17-18. Cincinnati hosts three shows from Jan. 23-25. Louisville has one on Jan. 31, and Portland has two scheduled for Feb. 14-15.
