Bay Street Yard is throwing a New Year's Eve bash on Wednesday, Dec. 31. Expect live bands, games, food trucks, and a champagne toast when the clock strikes twelve. Doors open at 2 p.m. The party doesn't stop until 2 a.m.
Eric Michael Taylor takes the stage from 2 to 5 p.m. Chasing Denver performs next, playing from 6 to 9 p.m. DJ Ian Kelley spins tracks through the late hours, starting at 10 p.m. and going until 2 a.m.
A block party kicks off at 4 p.m. just outside the gates. Guests can test their skills on a mechanical bull. Cornhole and beer pong await those who want to compete. Food trucks line up to serve hungry crowds, while bartenders keep drinks flowing.
Champagne pours free at midnight. The spot sits near the Caloosahatchee River. Watch the annual downtown Fort Myers fireworks explode overhead.
The multi-level space packs in multiple bars, food trucks, and a stage. Over 300 people fit inside the 12,000-square-foot area. An 8-foot by 13-foot LED screen displays the action. Ping pong and bocce provide entertainment between sets.
VIP suites are sold out. A few tables near the stage remain up for grabs. They start at $400 per night and include a free champagne bottle when midnight arrives.
VIP guests can order bottle service. Reserve tables by emailing hlesniak@mainsailhotels.com.
Gaea Landscaping sponsors the event. Find the venue at 2136 Bay St. in downtown Fort Myers.
