Stevens Construction Breaks Ground on Two Aroma Joe’s Coffee Shops in Florida

Stevens Construction has begun work on two new Aroma Joe's coffee shops in Southwest Florida, expanding the popular brand's presence in Port Charlotte and North Fort Myers. The projects were announced by Stevens Construction executive vice president and partner Dan Adams. Stevens Construction operates offices in Fort Myers and Orlando and provides construction management, general contracting, and related services to healthcare, commercial, and hospitality projects throughout Florida.

Each Aroma Joe's location will feature a 1,598-square-foot building designed to support both convenience and guest experience. The layout includes indoor and outdoor seating, an order counter, a prep area, restrooms, and a drive-thru. The shops will serve handcrafted coffee, espresso drinks, flavor infusions, AJ's RUSH energy drinks, and all-day food offerings.

Construction at the Port Charlotte location is already underway, while construction for the North Fort Myers location is scheduled to begin in January. Both projects are targeting completion in summer 2026. The Port Charlotte shop is located at 16400 Franklin Ave. The North Fort Myers location will be built at 18961 Del Tura Plaza Lane.

PDS Architecture is serving as the architect of record for both Aroma Joe's projects, with Avalon Engineering providing civil engineering services. The Stevens Construction project team includes Project Manager Hunter Stevens. Ken Redman is serving as superintendent for the Port Charlotte site, while Matt Adalpe is the superintendent for the North Fort Myers location. Project Administrator Krista Grandinetti is also part of the project team.

The two Aroma Joe's builds reflect continued growth in quick-service coffee and drive-thru-focused developments across Florida. Stevens Construction's involvement underscores its experience delivering efficiently designed commercial projects that balance speed of service, customer comfort, and long-term operational needs.
